About Acute Care Hospital Services

A full-service hospital including a 24-hour emergency room. Offers diagnostic and outpatient treatment services as well as emergency and critical care services for people who have any of a variety of illnesses or injuries that require immediate, short-term intervention. Scripps Mercy Hospital and Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla are county-designated trauma centers. Scripps Green Hospital does not have an emergency room.
