About Building Better Relationships With Your Children

Provides parenting class utilizing the STEP curriculum (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting). Class focuses on understanding children's needs and positive modeling skills. Class topics include: Growth and Development, Examining Beliefs, Misbehavior, Discipline, Self-Esteem, Communication Skills, Effective Problem Solving Skills, and additional special topics. Class material imparted through videos, lecture, class participation, and occasional homework assignments. Instructors hold MA degree in clinical psychology. Provider certifies the class is suitable for Juvenile Court cases by meeting Welfare and Institutions Code requirements.
