About Women and Children's Center
Provides a residential recovery program for homeless women who abuse alcohol/drugs or are victims of domestic violence, and their children. Services include Christian-based substance abuse rehabilitation, education and GED tutoring, family and spiritual counseling, vocational and career development, parenting classes, anger management, life skills training, health and nutrition, child support, and child development mutual support groups.

- Capacity/Availability: 70 total including women and children.
- Eligibility: Single women and women with children under the age of 12.
- Fees: No fees charged; can not be on TANF while participating in the program. SSI is okay.

- Shelter Exclusions: Clients who are not able to work and or care for themselves, Or tolerate violent behavior
- Stay Length: 12 -18 months
- Target Populations: Single Parent Families Headed by Mothers, Single Women
- Waiting List: As of 06/09/10 Facility is currently on a 3 month waitlist status and is currently accepting applicants.
