About Community Assessment Team (CAT) - WINGS
This is an early intervention and prevention program for at risk youth and their families in the North County Inland area. All staff provide strength based, family-centered. Services are offered in-home, on site. Utilizing a wraparound philosophy of service provision, clients and their families are offered case management, group counseling, individual and/or family counseling, in this voluntary program. Additionally, clients may be linked to numerous community resources and provided funding opportunities to participate in recreational activities or purchase basic needs that enhance attainment of their service plan. A variety of psycho-educational and pro-social groups are offered, tutoring services, juvenile law classes, intensive gang prevention program and Donovan Prison Tours. Clients may also be linked to local resource providers in order to complete assigned community service hours, obtain outpatient drug or alcohol treatment, and access other required stipulations by their referral sources or services that may enhance family functioning.
