About Family Nutrition Program
Offers individual nutrition counseling with a registered dietitian or health educator in English or Spanish. Fasting lipid panel/glucose and insulin done on children with BMI over 95%. Group classes are offered at all times.

Group class hours and days vary. Usually offered once a month in the afternoon.

- Eligibility: Ages 2 to 18. Children must be over 95th percentile Body Mass Index (BMI). Must be assigned to a provider of North County Health Services or referred by Communiyt Health Group (CHG).
- Fees: If insurance does not cover blood test a fee of $20.25 is applied for lipid panel, glucose, and insulin.
