About Family, Short-Term Transitional Housing, Joan Kroc Center

Provides short-term transitional housing to homeless families. Meals are provided on-site, and sack lunches are provided for working residents. Services include counseling, employment assistance and training, life skills classes, financial planning, assistance locating housing, basic adult education, and medical screening. A charter school for elementary age children and childcare are also available. Free vet services for dogs and cats are available the 3rd Sunday of every month at the village.
