About Health Education, Classes & Outreach Services

Offers health education, classes, and outreach services. Services include HIV Testing & Counseling, Community Intervention to Reduce Tobacco Use, Weight Management, Childhood Asthma, Hypertension, Nutrition, Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs, Teen Peer Outreach Services, Cholesterol, Stress, Diabetes, Childhood Obesity Programs, and HIV Prevention. Offers individual and group sessions for all chronic diseases. Also offers various classes at the Logan Heights Health Education Center including: Wednesday"™s to Wellness classes (Spanish only), "Happy Child" parenting classes (English and Spanish), Lead Poisoning Prevention classes (English and Spanish), and Healthy Cooking classes (English and Spanish). Also offers lactation services.
