About Josue Homes

Provides 5 residences (2 persons per room) for homeless individuals with AIDS or HIV+ symptomatic (ARC). Individuals must be able to care for themselves. Food is provided, but cooking and household maintenance are done by the residents. No medical care is provided at the the facility. Residents must work in the community either in a paid or volunteer status. Income is not required for admission.

  • Eligibility: Ages 18 years and older. Must be ambulatory. No drug or alcohol use permitted. Residents with a substance abuse problem must be willing to attend day treatment. Must have a physician's note verifying HIV+ symptomatic or AIDS status. Must show proof of a chest x-ray within the last 90 days, and must have PPD verification (no older than 3 months) that the individual is TB clear.
  • Fees: Residents with income are charged 30% for share of living expenses. No fees charged for residents without income.
