About Libre Domestic Violence Program
Provides a 45- to 60-day domestic violence shelter for women and their children (up to age 18 years for boys and girls). Also provides an 18-month transitional housing program for women and children. Case management, counseling services, daycare, and parenting skills training are provided. Both programs are designed to be culturally sensitive to the Latino community.

- Capacity/Availability: Shelter program: 24 women and children. Acceptable family size is 5. Shelter offers shared rooms, beds/cots, and common bathrooms. Meals are not provided; however, the shelter is equipped with cooking facilities and grocery vouchers, groceries, and food pantry are provided when needed. Transitional housing program: four families.
- Eligibility: Limited to female victims of domestic violence and their children (up to age 18 years for boys and girls). Emergency shelter accepts emancipated minors, single women, persons with disabilities, undocumented persons, and persons with AIDS.
