About Multiservices Project

Provides social, educational, and recreational services for senior citizens. Offers a congregate lunch and provides home-delivered meals to homebound seniors (must live in specific areas to be eligible to receive home-delivered meals). Offers health education and nutrition counseling, health insurance (HICAP) counseling, translation and interpretation services, friendly visiting to homebound and disabled seniors, and telephone reassurance. Offers blood pressure screenings. Also offers recreational programs, including exercise classes, dances with live music, and excursions and gatherings during special occasions and holidays.

  • Eligibility: Ages 60 years and older for most services. To receive home-delivered meals, must be 60 years or older, disabled, and live in specific service area.
  • Fees: No fees charged for most services. At Mira Mesa location, $3 donation is requested for seniors 60 years and older for lunch; $4 for people younger than 60 years. At Market St location, a $2.50 donation is requested for lunch. Donations also requested for home-delivered meals for homebound seniors.
  • Food Service Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Intake: Phone or walk in. Some services require an appointment.
