About Oz Shelters
Serves youth in crisis and their families, and operates a temporary shelter to house runaway youth. Counseling is provided for residents and their families. Also provides reunification planning, independent living planning, and an on-site school. Foster home placement is arranged for those youth not returning to their families.

- Eligibility: Ages 12 to 17 years. ID required, including name, address, name of parents/relative, parental permission, etc. Will not accept youth who are actively psychotic or suicidal, have ongoing history of violent acting out, criminal activity, or extensive substance abuse.
- Fees: Variable fees; sliding scale based on income and family size. Can qualify for some private insurance benefits. No one is refused due to inability to pay.
