About Scripps Whittier Diabetes Program

Offers diabetes health, nutrition, and diabetes education services to individuals with or at risk of diabetes. The classes offered are for the care and management of diabetes and include the following topics: Type 2 Diabetes Self Management, Diabetes Education, Gestation Diabetes, Comprehensive Insulin Management, Nutrition Counseling, Cardiac Rehab, Heart-Healthy Cooking, and Diabetes Self Management Education Support Groups. Classes are administered by certified diabetes nurse educators, registered dieticians, and health educators.
